Shanshan Zhu

Shanshan Zhu

Shanshan Zhu is Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in Sustainable Financial Regulation and Adjunct Professor of Company Law of Tourism at the University of Genoa (Italy). Her research interests are corporate governance, organizational culture, finance and banking regulation, CSR and sustainable finance.  Since November 2015 she is Junior Research Fellow at the Genoa Centre for Law and Finance.

In May 2019, she obtained her Ph.D with the dissertation "Corporate Governance of Banks: An interdisciplinary approach to establish a sound culture". In 2019 she has also obtained the national license as attorney in Milan. Since January 2018, she is also Sustainability Specialist at FinScience Srl.

Alessia Mistretta

Alessia Mistretta

Alessia Mistretta graduated from Genoa Law School with a final grade of 110/110 cum laude and publication recommended with a dissertation of research entitled “The new regulation on European financial markets: product intervention and role of supervisory Authorities”.  

In December 2022 she was admitted as a lawyer. In July 2023 she obtained her Ph.D. with a dissertation on Product intervention on financial and insurance markets (original title “La product intervention nei mercati finanziari e assicurativi").

Her main research interest is the European Union financial and insurance markets regulation.

Thea Romanò

Thea Romanò

Thea Romanò graduated from Genoa Law School in 2019 with a final grade of 110/110 cum laude. In September 2021 she was admitted as a lawyer. 

In July 2023 she obtained her Ph.D. with a dissertation on sustainable finance (original title "La responsabilità da greenwashing finanziario dopo il Regolamento (UE) 2019/2088 sulla trasparenza in materia di sostenibilità"). Her research interests range from all commercial law, in particular insurance law, notary commercial law and sustainability law.

Filippo Maria Turci

Filippo Maria Turci

Filippo Maria Turci graduated from Genoa Law School in 2019 with a final grade of 110/110 cum laude, and a recommendation of publication. 

Starting in September 2019, he was an intern at Borsa Italiana’s Regulatory department for a year, during which he developed a particular interest for: financial regulation, sustainable finance, SME growth markets and fintech (mainly DLT and cryptocurrencies).
